Transparency Education is recruiting an experienced and caring Nursery Nurse for a long-term Early Years position in Merton.
This Nursery Nurse opportunity would suit an Early Years practitioner who understands how young children learn and can create safe, stimulating opportunities that support communication, independence and early development.
The Nursery Nurse role
You will:
• Support childrens learning and development through purposeful play.
• Assist with activities linked to the EYFS curriculum.
• Observe childrens progress and contribute to assessment records.
• Promote communication, language, social and emotional development.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging and well-organised Early Years environment.
• Support childrens individual needs and routines.
• Work closely with the Early Years teacher and wider staff team.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
Requirements
• Previous Nursery or Early Years experience.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Warm, patient and attentive approach to working with young children.
• Strong safeguarding awareness.
• SEND experience would be beneficial.
• Right to work in the UK.
Pay is determined based on candidate qualifications and experience.
