Service Engineer Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business based in Hertford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining compressed air and vacuum equipment at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while building strong working relationships with customers. Install, service and maintain compressed air and vacuum equipment, including associated systems. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs and preventative maintenance. Liaise with the Service Department to ensure work is completed efficiently and to schedule. Complete accurate service reports and documentation. Work in line with all Health & Safety policies and procedures. GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English. A full UK driving licence. Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge. Strong communication and customer service skills.
