One to One PMLD Support Assistan t to provide dedicated, therapeutic support for students with complex needs. The Role of a One to One PMLD Support Assistant: Provide
1:1 support
for secondary pupils with PMLD Support
learning, communication, mobility, and sensory engagement Assist with
individualised routines, therapy programmes, and life skills development Help implement
IEPs, personalised targets, and care plans Work closely with teachers, therapists, families, and external professionals We're Looking For in a One to One PMLD Support Assistant: Experience supporting pupils with
PMLD or complex SEN A
patient, empathetic, and calm
approach Confidence using
specialist communication, sensory, and care strategies Strong teamwork and communication skills Understanding of
