Location: Gloucester or Manchester

Key Responsibilities of an Operational Cyber Vulnerability Researcher Conduct vulnerability research across a variety of operating systems, platforms and technologies
Perform reverse engineering on complex software and systems
Investigate vulnerabilities and support proof-of-concept exploit development
Develop and utilise bespoke tools to support research activities
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary technical teams
Share knowledge and mentor junior team members
Deliver technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Support the delivery of solutions aligned to customer and operational requirements
What We're Looking For in an Operational Cyber Vulnerability Researcher Experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering or exploit development
Familiarity with tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Unicorn and debugging platforms
Knowledge of low-level programming and system internals
Understanding of the exploit development xwzovoh lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
Experience across multiple platforms including Android, iOS or similar environments
A passion for cybersecurity and emerging technologies
Experience gained through professional work, research projects, bug bounty programmes or Capture The Flag competitions is highly valued
