Operations Support Technician

I am looking for Operations Support Technicians to be responsible for providing front-line operational support to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of production and maintenance activities on site. The role delivers critical field-based assurance through activities such as HIC development, gas testing, isolation verification, and integrity checks, ensuring that all work is conducted in line with Operating Integrity (OI) requirements and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).

These are 2-year long term contract opportunities on a full-time basis with 4 days based on site at Barrow. The role is inside IR35 PAYE with rates to be discussed.

No clearance is required but background checks may be carried out.


ROLE OVERVIEW:

The position supports the effective day to day delivery of PtW readiness ensuring the O&M teams are supported in their execution and delivery of work. They also support the implementation of isolation control through the application and verification of Isolation Control Certificates (ICC) using a two-person verification process, enhancing both safety and operational efficiency.

The role is also accountable for conducting on-site Operating Integrity activities, including Joint Integrity Management (JIM) inspections, leak/weeps identification, and Level/Containment (LO/LC) surveys, to proactively identify and mitigate risks to asset integrity.
