Operatives are to assist in the delivery of on-site project works to a safe, compliant and to a high standard of workmanship. You will play a vital role in supporting the operational activities necessary for the delivery of utility services to our customers.

The operative will be responsible to the Lead Operative

• To work safely at all times and ensure the safety of all those working around them.
• To comply with the requirements of the company policies, procedures and relevant risk assessments and method statements.
• To report all accidents, incidents and near misses.
• To attend Stand Downs, Team Briefs and Toolbox Talks.
• Follow instructions from the Lead Operative or site supervisor / site manager to complete tasks efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• To attend training and update courses as required.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards.
• To assist with accurately recording details of work undertaken.
• Operate plant and machinery (where trained and certified).
• To represent the company in a professional manner at all times to ensure customer satisfaction.
