Outreach Tutor - Runcorn The Opportunity Prospero Teaching is recruiting Outreach Tutors to provide flexible 1:1 educational support to children and young people across Runcorn. The learners you support may be experiencing barriers to mainstream education, awaiting a school placement or accessing alternative provision. Your role will be to deliver engaging tuition while developing a positive relationship with the learner and helping them re-engage with education. Every programme is tailored to the individual, making this a varied and rewarding role. Position Details * Location: Runcorn * Position: Outreach Tutor * Hours: 5-15 hours per week * Start Date: September 2026 * Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications We are particularly interested in candidates with: * Experience working with children or young people * Previous tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience * Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners * QTS or equivalent (desirable) * Strong relationship-building and communication skills To be eligible, you must: * Hold the Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one * Provide two professional child-related references Apply Today If you're a creative and patient educator who enjoys working with young people on an individual basis, we'd love to hear from you.
