Job Description

A well-established, international architecture and design practice is looking for a PA / Office Coordinator to join its Manchester studio on a part-time basis.

This is a varied role supporting the senior team and helping to coordinate the smooth day-to-day running of the studio. The practice has a long-standing presence in the UK and a strong reputation across the architecture and design sector, with a collaborative team working across a diverse portfolio of UK and international projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, personable and proactive, with the confidence to work across both PA and general office coordination responsibilities.

The role is ideally structured across five shorter days, totalling approximately 25–30 hours per week, although there is some flexibility around the exact working pattern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide PA and administrative support to senior members of the Manchester studio

Manage diaries, meetings and appointments

Coordinate meetings, travel and occasional events

Prepare correspondence, documents and presentations

Manage general office administration and day-to-day enquiries

Help ensure the smooth running of the studio and office environment

Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and external contacts

Assist with invoices, expenses and general financial administration

Coordinate office supplies, facilities and suppliers

Support with internal meetings and team activities

Assist the wider business with ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a PA, Office Coordinator, Studio Coordinator or similar role

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

Confident communicating with people at all levels, both internally and externally

Proactive and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks

Professional, approachable and personable

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Previous experience within architecture, design, property or another professional/creative environment would be advantageous

A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support across the wider studio when required
