- Midlands £50,000 to £55,000 p.a.

This one is about designing how they move.
You'll take ownership of supply chain and packaging solutions for major manufacturing projects, shaping everything from inbound logistics and internal material flow to packaging strategy, storage design, process optimisation and production support.

Why This Role? You'll be joining a well-established manufacturing operation where supply chain engineering sits at the heart of project delivery.
You'll have the opportunity to: Design and develop end to end supply chain solutions Create efficient material and information flows across manufacturing operations Define packaging specifications and logistics strategies Optimise stock levels, lead times and storage solutions Work closely with manufacturing, purchasing and project teams Support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives Drive productivity, quality and operational performance improvements Be customer facing and ability to positively influence Showcase VSM
- (value stream mapping) ability and train fellow team members Work with Developmental NPI teams to effectively collaborate This is a role that combines engineering, logistics, project management and problem solving in equal measure.
What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with people who have experience in areas such as: Packaging Engineering Supply Chain Engineering Logistics Engineering Manufacturing Engineering with strong supply chain exposure Continuous Improvement or Industrial Engineering You'll ideally bring: An Engineering degree or equivalent experience Automotive experience, ideally exposure to sequencing would be highly beneficial Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Experience improving material flow and logistics processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions SAP experience would be beneficial, and a solid foundation of Excel What's In It For You? £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate.
