Painter & Decorator Location: Redhill and surrounding areas Contract: Temporary Start Date: Immediate Our client, a well-established housing provider, is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their voids (empty properties) refurbishment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with experience working in residential properties, delivering high-quality decorating and repair work while providing excellent customer service. The Role Working across a portfolio of residential properties, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, including filling, sanding and making good. * Carrying out internal and external decorating works. * Assessing repair requirements and identifying the most effective solutions. * Identifying issues such as damp and mould and carrying out appropriate remedial decoration. * Using mobile technology to receive, update and complete work orders. * Working safely at all times in line with Health & Safety regulations, COSHH and safe working practices. Requirements * Experienced painter/decorator * Previous experience within social housing, property maintenance or domestic repairs is highly desirable. * Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Experience using handheld devices or mobile job management systems. * Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures. * Full UK driving licence.
