Temporary Painter & Decorator Location: Cambridge Duration: Minimum 2 weeks (with the possibility of extension) Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–4:00pm) Pay: Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join one of our clients on a temporary basis for a minimum of two weeks. This role involves carrying out high-quality painting and decorating work across a varied portfolio of modern and historic buildings. Key Responsibilities * Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, cleaning and priming. * Carry out internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard. * Apply a range of finishes including emulsions, gloss, varnishes and specialist coatings. * Wallpapering and decorative finishes where required. * Undertake decorating work on both modern and heritage properties, following conservation requirements where applicable. * Work safely and maintain clean, tidy work areas at all times. * Liaise with other trades and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
