Job Title: Painter & Decorator (Cyclical Works) Location: Local Council Contracts Salary: £35,500 per annum (£17.29 per hour) + Overtime + Weekly Bonus + Mileage Allowance Job Overview: We are currently recruiting experienced Painter & Decorators to work on cyclical maintenance contracts for a local council. The role involves both internal and external decoration works across residential blocks and communal areas. Key Responsibilities: Carry out high-quality painting and decorating works to a professional standard Internal works including hallways, stairwells, and communal areas External painting works to residential buildings and blocks Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment at all timesRequirements: Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator Ideally hold relevant painting & decorating qualifications (e.g. NVQ or City & Guilds) Must have own tools and transport Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and workmanship Must be able to pass a DBS checkWhat's on Offer: Salary of £35,500 per year (£17.29 per hour) Overtime available to increase earnings Weekly bonus scheme to top up income Mileage allowance provided Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunitiesHow to Apply: For immediate start, please call Ravi on (phone number removed).
