We are seeking a Skilled Panel Beater for our esteemed client based in Telford, Shropshire. This is a full-time position within a well-established accident repair centre, offering competitive remuneration and long-term career development.

Basic salary between £40,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience
OTE exceeding £50,000, including team and site bonuses
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Opportunities for professional development within a reputable accident repair centreDuties of the Panel Beater:
Repair damaged vehicle body panels and replace panels where necessary
Conduct chassis and structural repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Safely operate jigs, fixtures, welding equipment, and workshop tools
Follow manufacturer repair methods and technical instructions accurately
Ensure structural repairs are completed to high standards and safety regulations
Identify and communicate any additional repair requirements
Manage customer vehicles throughout the repair process, maintaining high-quality workmanship
Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and organisation
Collaborate with team members to meet repair schedules
Support and mentor less experienced technicians as appropriate
Attend training courses to stay current with repair technology and techniquesRequirements of the Panel Beater:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle body panel repair and replacement processes
Experience with welding, jigging, and structural repairs
Familiarity with manufacturer repair specifications and methods
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH regulations
Reliable, professional, and eager to develop technical skills
