Paraplanner

Idex Consulting are working with a leading national financial planning firm looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing Edinburgh team.Working closely with Financial Planners, you'll provide technical support by producing high-quality suitability reports, carrying out detailed research and helping deliver tailored financial planning solutions for clients.Key Responsibilities

• Produce suitability reports across a range of advice areas.
• Conduct research using Defaqto, FE Analytics and other systems.
• Prepare illustrations, quotations and client documentation.
• Support Financial Planners with complex case analysis.
• Maintain accurate client records on the iO back-office system.
• Keep up to date with regulatory and legislative changes.

About You

• Previous Paraplanning experience within an IFA or Financial Planning firm.
• Diploma qualified or working towards it.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax and estate planning.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Experience with Defaqto, FE Analytics and iO is advantageous.
