This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step in their career within a professional and collaborative financial planning environment. Obtain and analyse information relating to clients existing financial arrangements and complete detailed gap analysis. Research the market and recommend suitable financial products and solutions based on client requirements. Prepare high-quality, personalised client reports written in clear, concise and accessible language. Work closely with Financial Advisers throughout the research, report-writing and recommendation process. Ensure all advice and recommendations meet regulatory, compliance and internal quality standards. Develop a thorough understanding of each clients circumstances, objectives, attitude to risk, capacity for loss, knowledge, experience and timescales. Prepare detailed analysis of existing investment and pension portfolios. Participate in relevant training, competence and professional development initiatives. An experienced and career-focused Paraplanner with a strong desire to develop professionally. Minimum CII Diploma-level study, ideally with the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning already underway or completed. Strong knowledge of financial planning, including pre- and post-retirement planning and pension transfers. Good understanding of investments, taxation and wider financial planning strategies. Excellent report-writing and research skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, client-friendly recommendations. Strong understanding of the FCA regulatory and compliance framework. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work. A genuine desire to progress towards Chartered Financial Planner status. Experience within an independent financial advice or financial planning environment. Experience with pension analysis, pension transfers, investments and portfolio reviews. Strong understanding of financial planning products and platforms. Experience working closely with Financial Advisers and compliance teams. Familiarity with back-office systems and workflow management. CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning completed or nearing completion. Progress towards Chartered Financial Planner status.
