Paraplanner – Wealth Management Location: Chester-le-Street (with occasional travel to other locations as required) Our client is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their established wealth management practice. This role is responsible for producing high-quality suitability letters, financial reports, and supporting documentation to assist advisers in delivering effective financial planning solutions to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with advisers, administrators, clients, and third parties to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of financial planning recommendations. Produce accurate and compliant suitability letters and reports in support of client financial recommendations. Use established checklists and processes to maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities Keep up to date with regulatory changes, industry developments, and internal advice guidance. Ensure all work complies with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards. Identify and escalate any potential compliance or risk issues where required. Maintain knowledge of financial planning tools and research systems, such as Analytics and Voyant. Take responsibility for ongoing professional development and maintaining relevant industry knowledge. Attend training sessions, forums, and workshops as appropriate. Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA, wealth management, or financial planning environment. Experience producing suitability reports and supporting financial advisers. Experience working within a regulated financial services environment. Strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office packages. Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Quality Focus Takes ownership of work quality, accuracy, and delivery, achieving results with minimal supervision.
