Part Time Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking for a flexible role with genuine autonomy and responsibility.Working closely with the leadership team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring the timely production of financial information, maintaining robust financial controls and supporting key business decisions. This role would suit an experienced Accountant or Management Accountant seeking a flexible working arrangement. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and associated financial reports.
• Manage the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee the day-to-day accounting function.
• Complete bank, balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
• Manage the purchase ledger, supplier payments and cash flow.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors and other professional advisers.
• Support payroll administration where required.
• Review and improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
