Part Time Receptionist

Temporary Evening Receptionist – York £12.71 per hour | Monday–Thursday, 4:45pm–9:00pm | Temporary position Essential requirement: The successful candidate must already hold their own Enhanced DBS check, which must have been issued within the last three months. Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their current Enhanced DBS certificate. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis, covering our Welcome Desk from 4:45pm to 9:00pm, Monday to Thursday. This is a varied, customer-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and creating a warm and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities Welcoming visitors, students and members of the public Answering and responding to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries Providing support and information to students and visitors Supporting the smooth running of our adult evening classes, particularly at the start of term Preparing and setting up temporary student lanyards ready for the following day Assisting with general Welcome Desk and reception duties as required About you We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, approachable and professional Confident communicating with people face-to-face, over the telephone and via email Organised, reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Able to provide a friendly and professional welcome to our students and visitors If you are looking for a temporary evening role in York and have the required DBS clearance, we would love to hear from you
