Our client is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy and expanding team in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and organised individual with parts experience to play a key role in supporting both customers and workshop operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and supplying parts efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining accurate stock control and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities Identify and supply the correct spare and replacement parts for customers and workshop technicians.
Interpret parts catalogues, manuals and electronic systems to accurately identify required parts.
Assist customers and workshop personnel with parts enquiries in person, via telephone and email.
Process parts orders promptly and accurately, ensuring customer requirements are met within agreed timeframes.
Handle sales transactions and process customer payments, ensuring all relevant documentation and order references are obtained.
Receive and book stock into the system accurately, ensuring inventory records remain up to date.
Store incoming parts correctly and maintain an organised and efficient parts department.
Carry out regular stock checks and support inventory control activities.
Maintain accurate records relating to tools and equipment, including issuing, returns and condition checks.
Conduct periodic tool audits to ensure all equipment is accounted for and maintained appropriately.
Support the wider business by delivering high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Assist with housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Parts Advisor, Parts Coordinator or within a similar parts and inventory role.
Strong knowledge of parts identification and ordering processes.
Experience using parts catalogues, inventory systems and stock management software.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process orders and stock movements.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Competent IT skills and experience working with computerised systems.
Willingness to undertake manual handling duties as part of the role.
Desirable Forklift licence or experience operating a forklift.
Experience within the construction, agricultural, automotive, engineering or heavy equipment sectors.
