Responsibilities of a Pastoral Support Mentor:
- Provide pastoral, behavioural and academic support to Sixth Form students.
- Monitor attendance, wellbeing and engagement through interventions, parental liaison and home visits.
- Support behaviour management and supervise independent study provision.
- Deliver one-to-one mentoring and targeted GCSE English intervention.
- Guide students with UCAS applications, personal statements, CV writing, apprenticeships and post-18 pathways.
- Organise university visits, careers events, enrichment opportunities and work experience.
