Snapshot Salary up to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience Permanent, full-time position in Cambridge 39.25 hours per week, worked across five days Every other weekend off for a better work-life balance 36 days' annual leave, including Bank Holidays Enhanced contributory pension, free lunch, gym and parking Your role in the kitchen As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will work alongside the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver high-quality pastry, desserts and catering across a prestigious Cambridge college. You will play an important role in maintaining consistently high food standards while ensuring the kitchen operates to excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and producing a high standard of pastry, desserts and sweet dishes Supporting the wider kitchen team with the delivery of daily catering Maintaining consistent quality, presentation and portion control Working efficiently across a busy seven-day catering operation Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety Working closely with senior chefs and colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen service Contributing to a professional, positive and well-organised kitchen environment What you can expect This is an excellent opportunity for a talented pastry professional looking to develop their career within an established Cambridge hospitality environment.
