Payroll & Pensions Officer Temp

Are you a highly organised individual with strong Payroll skills looking for temporary part time work in the Driffield area? Our client is six organisations within the group, all of which are agricultural businesses. As they navigate a period of change in their finance department, they are seeking an experienced and resilient individual to manage their weekly payroll for approximately 100 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with comprehensive payroll experience, who is eager to make a significant impact in a hands-on role. What the Payroll job involves Youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the weekly payroll. Processing weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees. Working with manual timesheets received. Manual processing of all deductions including PAYE, NI, Pension, holidays, overtime, SSP, MSP etc. Uploading data onto QuickBooks for payment, generating and distributing payslips. Dealing with any payroll queries. Making pension contributions. This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of operations, managing multiple priorities, and providing essential payroll support. Extensive payroll experience. The ability to perform manual payroll calculations accurately. Comfortable working with manual, paper-based systems whilst they review their systems and process. This role would also suit an experienced payroll professional seeking a challenging temporary position where they can make a tangible difference. 1 to 2 days per week, with Tuesday being essential for payroll processing. Flexible on other days and potential for shorter days. Dog friendly office with 1 or 2 on site daily.
