Payroll AssociateLocation: NewportPosition: Permanent, full timeSalary -  NegotiableDue to continued growth, our client are seeking a talented Payroll Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment and contribute to the success of a growing practice.The Position:Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:Processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a variety of clients using Sage Payroll.Managing Bacs payments and submitting HMRC returns.Uploading pension data to pension providers.Completing year-end submissions.Handling client payroll queries.Providing holiday cover for the Payroll Manager.Person Specification:Essential Criteria:Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within an accountancy practice.Proven experience in running multiple client payrolls in a bureau environment.Proficiency in Sage Payroll.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.Strong organizational and time management skills.A proactive and problem-solving approach.Desirable Criteria:Experience with other payroll software (e.g., Xero).Presentation skills.Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and collaborative work environment.30 days holiday (including bank holidays)In house GymNext steps:If this sounds like a great opportunity and you can demonstrate a proven track record in initiating and delivering the above, with solid results, then please click Apply to upload your CV for consideration.
