Payroll Specialist - Permanent - England, Scotland, Ireland - Remote - Hybrid - up to £55,000 per annum
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a sports retailer, who are looking for a Payroll Specialist, on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for coordinating payroll operations, across the EMEA region, specifically France. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment, play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery, and ideally speak fluent French.
The Payroll Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as: Process and oversee monthly payrolls, across France & Italy using ADP Collect, verify, and input payroll data including new starters, leavers, variable pay, and benefit deductions Liaise with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to meet payroll timelines and resolve discrepancies Ensure full statutory compliance with local payroll, tax regulations in each country Support monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting, including reconciliations and audit support Maintain payroll records in accordance with legal and internal policy requirements Respond promptly and professionally to payroll related employee queries Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes, documentation, and systems Key Skills: Proven experience processing French payrolls in a multi country context ADP experience is desirable Strong knowledge of local tax, pension, and labour regulations across EMEA countries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Fluent in French is desirable Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality Excellent communication skills
