If so, this Payroll Support Administrator job in Hull could be exactly what you're looking for. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation in Hull as part of a friendly and supportive team. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you'll provide accurate administration support across a busy payroll service, dealing with a variety of information, timesheets and employee records. You'll therefore need to be methodical, comfortable with basic calculations and able to spot when something doesn't look quite right. This could be a great opportunity if you're currently working in administration, finance, accounts, data entry or another numbers-based role and would like to develop your skills within payroll. Assisting with information and calculations required for audits. Maintaining and updating information across internal systems. Producing reports and ensuring information is recorded accurately. Handling sensitive personal and financial information confidentially. Working to regular payroll deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Providing general administration support and helping colleagues when required. You’ll ideally have: Previous experience within an administration, data entry, finance, accounts or similar office-based role. Good numerical skills and confidence working with figures. Experience accurately inputting data and information onto computer systems. The ability to read and interpret information from documents such as timesheets and transfer it accurately onto a system. A methodical approach to your work and an understanding of the importance of accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload and work to regular deadlines. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions or clarify information when something doesn't look right. A friendly and professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of payroll.
