PDI Technician £30,000 Basic Salary + Overtime Tonbridge Permanent | Full Time Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm, 1 Hour Lunch) | 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am – 12:30pm) Paid as Overtime Our client, a successful main dealership based in Tonbridge, is looking to recruit a PDI Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 qualified Technician looking to work in a professional dealership environment, carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on both new and used vehicles. You'll be joining a supportive workshop with excellent long-term career prospects and manufacturer training opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities * Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles. * Prepare vehicles to the highest standards prior to customer handover. * Complete servicing, safety inspections and minor mechanical repairs where required. * Identify and report any faults or defects. * Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards. * Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately. * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. * Work closely with the workshop team to ensure vehicles are prepared on time. Your Background & Skills * Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent) is essential. * Previous experience as a PDI Technician or Vehicle Technician is desirable. * Good mechanical knowledge with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Full UK Driving Licence.
