HICA is looking for an experienced and proactive People Advisor to join our established HR team and play a key role in supporting our services across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
At HICA, our HR team is more than just a support function. We are trusted partners who help shape organisational change, improve employee experiences, strengthen leadership capability and support the delivery of high-quality care services.
Pay & Hours
- 37 hours per week
- Up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday
- Office based with occasional travel to visit services (valid UK driving licence is essential)
About the Role
You will provide professional HR advice and support across a diverse range of people matters, including:
- Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance matters.
- Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
- Providing advice on employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and onboarding activity across a range of services.
- Identifying trends and root causes of recurring people issues and supporting solutions.
