People Business Partner
who can combine strategic insight with hands-on delivery
working alongside leaders to build capability, drive performance and create a culture where people thrive. Why this role matters
This is a
true business partnering role
not just advising, but shaping outcomes. You will: Translate organisational goals into practical
people solutions Work closely with leaders to drive
performance, engagement and capability Use
data and insight
to inform decisions and improvements Build confident, capable managers who deliver great outcomes Youll play a key role in delivering our
People Strategy
and helping the organisation continuously improve. What you will be doing Strategic partnering & influence:
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers Co-create
people plans
aligned to organisational priorities Act as a
coach, mentor and critical friend
providing challenge and support Use workforce data and insight to guide decision-making Employee relations & policy expertise:
Provide expert advice across the full employee lifecycle Support complex cases including performance, absence, change, and employee relations Develop and evolve policies that are
modern, inclusive and legally compliant Talent, capability & culture:
Work with the Talent & OD Partner to support
recruitment, succession and workforce planning Identify capability gaps and shape development solutions Support initiatives that improve
engagement, wellbeing and culture Champion values-led leadership and high performance Change & continuous improvement:
Partner with services to support
change, transformation, and organisational development Contribute to people projects such as
EDI&B, wellbeing, and digital HR improvements Help shape a progressive, forward-thinking People Service Data, systems & modern HR practice:
Use HR systems and data to drive
evidence-based decisions Promote digital tools and self-service approaches Ensure compliance, governance, and accurate people data Leadership & collaboration:
Line manage and support team members to perform at their best Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation Facilitate workshops and conversations that drive understanding and improvement What you will bring
Were looking for a
credible, proactive HR professional
who can balance strategy with delivery. Experience & expertise:
Strong generalist HR experience in a
business partnering role Proven track record of influencing leaders and supporting organisational change Experience managing complex employee relations issues Strong knowledge of
employment law and HR best practice Experience using data and HR systems to support decisions Skills that make the difference:
Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills Analytical and able to turn insight into action Strong coaching and facilitation capability Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities Your style:
Collaborative, credible, and solutions-focused Confident in challenging constructively Values-driven, with a strong commitment to
