The Role
A leading London law firm is seeking a newly qualified Solicitor to join their marine defendant, personal injury, travel and regulatory team. The successful candidate will be working with a wide client base within this sector, including ship and yacht owners, operators and insurers, ports, hotel owners and insurers, and cruise lines. In essence, this role involves drafting agreements and defending a range of claims, including personal injury, travel and industrial disease.
The Candidate
- Newly qualified solicitor with NQ – 2 years PQE
- Completed both a law degree (or equivalent) and at least one seat in personal injury and/or industrial disease law during training contract.
- Can confidently handle own caseload and adopt a pragmatic approach to legal and commercial problem solving.
- Demonstrates aptitude for developing new business.
