Summary We’re looking for an experienced Piping Quality Engineer to join a leading project at Hinkley Point C. This permanent position is ideal for candidates with strong piping experience gained in highly regulated industries such as power generation or oil and gas. Location and Working Pattern Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset Working Pattern: Fully on-site, Monday to FridayClient Overview Our client plays a key role in delivering engineering excellence for major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are committed to the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards, contributing to long-term sustainable energy solutions. Responsibilities Monitor and enforce quality standards related to piping systems on site Oversee material and weld traceability to meet project specifications Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements Liaise with project teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly Review quality documentation, test packs and ensure accurate record-keeping Assist in preparing and updating quality-related reports Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actionsMust-have Requirements Proven experience in piping engineering and quality assurance/control Background in major projects within regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, oil & gas, power generation) Strong understanding of welding and materials standards relevant to piping systems Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills Full right to work in the UK – sponsorship not availableNice-to-have Skills Familiarity with nuclear site regulations and codes Knowledge of ISO quality management systems Experience with quality database toolsApply Now If you’re ready to bring your expertise to an exciting project and join a team committed to engineering excellence, apply today and one of our consultants will be in touch.
