Planning Conditions Officer - Hybrid working (flexible arrangements for non-local candidates) £50-55 per hour (DOE) Initial 6-9 month initial contract 37 hours per week Job Ref - 68545 Take the lead on a unique Planning Conditions project within a busy Local Authority Development Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to reduce the backlog of condition discharge applications while helping modernise the council's approach to planning conditions. Key responsibilities: ·Manage a caseload focused on condition discharge applications ·Review and improve standard planning conditions ·Develop a long-term conditions monitoring strategy ·Drive service improvements and best practice ·Provide planning advice to a range of stakeholders Requirements: ·UK Local Authority Development Management experience ·Strong knowledge of planning conditions and planning legislation ·Excellent report writing and communication skills ·Proactive approach to service improvement Hybrid working with flexible arrangements available for the right non-local candidate.
