Planning & Consents Manager Deeside, North Wales Excellent Salary + Benefits Red Sky Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor for an experienced Planning & Consents Manager to support the delivery of a nationally significant carbon capture pipeline project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on one of the UK's most important low-carbon infrastructure projects. Working within a major projects team, you will lead the management of planning, environmental consents and third-party approvals required to successfully deliver a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) under the Development Consent Order (DCO) regime. The Role Reporting into the Major Projects team, your responsibilities will include: Managing planning and environmental consents throughout the project lifecycle. Supporting the preparation, submission and management of Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and associated approvals. Coordinating planning, environmental and technical consultants. Ensuring compliance with planning legislation, environmental regulations and consent conditions. Building strong relationships with local authorities, statutory consultees, landowners and key stakeholders. Maintaining planning registers, approvals and project documentation. Preparing reports and briefings to support project governance and senior management. Working closely with project managers, engineers and environmental specialists to integrate planning requirements into project delivery. Identifying planning risks, constraints and mitigation measures. Providing planning and consenting advice across the wider project team. About You To be considered, you will have: Previous experience in a Planning & Consents, Consents Manager or Infrastructure Planning role. Experience working on major infrastructure projects, ideally within utilities, energy, pipelines, rail or highways. Knowledge of the UK planning system and environmental consenting processes. Experience working on NSIPs and Development Consent Orders (DCOs) is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging local authorities, statutory bodies and external consultants. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
