Plant Fitter

DK Recruitment are recruiting for a Plant Fitter on behalf of a well-established construction and plant hire business. The Role * Service, maintain and repair a range of construction plant and equipment. * Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults. * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs. * Complete inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards. * Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records. * Work efficiently to minimise equipment downtime. * Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times. What We're Looking For * Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Mechanic or Construction Equipment Technician. * Strong knowledge of construction plant such as excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, rollers, loaders or crushers. * Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical systems. * Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Relevant engineering qualification What's On Offer * Competitive salary with regular overtime available * Pension scheme and holiday entitlement. * Stable, long-term career with opportunities for progression. * Supportive team environment and modern workshop facilities
