Plant Fitter

Plant Fitter We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a busy engineering operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with experience working on heavy plant, lifting equipment and specialist machinery. The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of plant and lifting equipment, ensuring machinery remains safe, compliant and available for operational use. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and inspections on plant and lifting equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults. Prepare equipment for statutory inspections, including LOLER examinations. Attend customer and operational sites to carry out repairs and breakdown support when required. Work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, risk assessments, Health & Safety requirements, DVSA standards and relevant legislation. Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection and repair records. Support third-party inspections and statutory examinations. Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop. Manage parts, tools and consumable stock effectively. About You NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance, Engineering or a related discipline. NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations for servicing forklift trucks.
