Workshop Fitter Location: London, South, East & West Salary: £30,000 £45,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: Monday Friday | 7:30am 5:00pm Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time Whats in it for you? This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter, or someone who has recently completed a relevant apprenticeship, to join a supportive workshop environment where you will be responsible for the inspection, fault-finding, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
You will work on a varied range of equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained to a high standard and ready for customers to use safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of hire equipment Working on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, including: 110V and cordless power tools Site equipment Petrol and 2-stroke equipment Diesel plant Air tools Hydraulic equipment General mechanical equipment Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs Ensuring equipment is maintained to company safety and quality standards Completing maintenance records and workshop paperwork About You You will ideally have experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment and be confident carrying out repairs and maintenance.
This could include experience within: Plant hire Tool hire Powered access Generators Pumps Lifting equipment Agricultural machinery Vehicle or mechanical engineering environments Alternatively, you may have recently completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline and be looking to develop your career. xwzovoh
