Competitive salary of £30,000 £45,000 depending on experienceMonthly bonus schemeExcellent work-life balance with Monday to Friday working hours28 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days with length of serviceEnhanced pension schemeHealth Cash PlanWorkwear and PPE providedRefreshments available on siteStable, permanent employment with a growing and supportive companyOpportunity to develop your skills across a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipmentAbout the Role We are working with a successful and growing tool hire business operating across London and the Home Counties, who are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter, or someone who has recently completed a relevant apprenticeship, to join a supportive workshop environment where you will be responsible for the inspection, fault-finding, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment.Key Responsibilities Fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of hire equipmentWorking on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, including: 110V and cordless power toolsSite equipmentPetrol and 2-stroke equipmentDiesel plantAir toolsHydraulic equipmentGeneral mechanical equipmentDiagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairsEnsuring equipment is maintained to company safety and quality standardsCompleting maintenance records and workshop paperworkAbout You You will ideally have experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment and be confident carrying out repairs and maintenance.Plant hireTool hirePowered accessGeneratorsPumpsLifting equipmentAgricultural machineryVehicle or mechanical engineering environmentsAlternatively, you may have recently completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline and be looking to develop your career.
