You will help ensure site operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures, while maintaining high standards of customer service. This vacancy is for a full-time position. 20 days' annual leave, depending on full-time working arrangements, plus Bank Holidays - Pension scheme - Life insurance - On-the-job training and progression - Recognition scheme - Refer a friend - Flexible benefits, including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, and many more (where applicable) - Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing Platform What will you be doing? - Operating site plant safely and efficiently - Supporting the safe acceptance and movement of waste on site - Ensuring waste is managed in line with site procedures and permit requirements - Helping to maintain good housekeeping across the site, including welfare areas - Following site waste acceptance procedures, including sampling where required - Identifying and reporting non-conforming waste - Supporting site maintenance and holiday cover at other local operational sites if required - Experience or qualifications in operating heavy plant would be an advantage - Experience with equipment such as bulldozers, loading shovels, excavators, compactors, dumpers or tractors would be desirable - A flexible approach to work - A performance-driven approach with a focus on supporting operational improvement About Us We are FCC Environment, one of the UKs leading waste and resource management companies.
