We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a well-established property services contractor carrying out remedial plastering works following electrical rewires across residential properties in Leicester.

This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team supporting a large-scale electrical rewire programme.

The position is focused on patching, repairs, and finishing works to leave properties smooth and ready for decoration.

The role involves working within occupied residential properties across Leicester, primarily covering the LE2 and LE3 areas, carrying out repairs to walls and surfaces affected by electrical installation works.

The successful Plasterer will be responsible for completing high-quality remedial works following electrical rewires, ensuring all affected areas are repaired and finished to a smooth, decoratable standard.

Key Responsibilities: Complete plaster patching and remedial finishing following electrical rewires Repair and make good electrical chases using bonding and fine filler to achieve a smooth finish Complete all required patching works within properties within the allocated timeframe Ensure repaired areas are left smooth, clean, and ready for tenants to decorate Carry out minor plaster repairs to walls and affected surfaces Travel between occupied residential properties across Leicester, including areas such as Braunstone, New Parks, Saffron Lane and Monsell Transport plaster, tools, and materials using your own vehicle Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and tidy work area Attend company onboarding and complete any required internal training courses Complete work in line with health and safety regulations and company standards Requirements: To have your own vehicle (car acceptable) To have your own tools Previous experience working as a Plasterer Strong experience in plaster patching, bonding chases, and finishing works Ability to complete high-quality repairs following electrical works Experience working within occupied residential or social housing properties xwzovoh is desirable Valid asbestos awareness certification required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Available to start following successful onboarding Benefits: £21
- £22 per hour Ongoing, self-employed work Monday to Friday working pattern (37.5 hours per week) Weekly pay (CIS payments available) Company onboarding and relevant training provided Opportunity to secure long-term work supporting a reputable residential rewire programme As a Plasterer, you will play an important role in ensuring properties are left to a high standard following electrical works.
