This opportunity would suit candidates with a background in marine, defence, dockyard, shipbuilding, ship repair, structural fabrication or heavy engineering. The South West has a strong long-term marine and defence engineering market, including major dockyard and infrastructure activity around Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth. The work is expected to suit experienced tradespeople who are comfortable working on large-scale engineering programmes where accuracy, safety and quality are essential.
