Plater / Fabricators - Heavy Structural Steel Hartlepool | £27.87 per Hour CIS / Ltd | Overtime Available | Immediate Starts ES Recruit has immediate contract opportunities for experienced Plater / Fabricators to join a well-established structural steel fabrication company based in Hartlepool. If you're a time-served Plater with experience working on heavy structural steel, large beams, platework or bridge sections, we want to hear from you. Immediate starts are available following a successful trade test. Pay & Overtime £27.87 per hour - CIS / Ltd Overtime available at time and half. 8 hours OT per week guaranteed Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday morning The Work You'll be working within a heavy structural steel fabrication environment, with duties including: Fabricating heavy structural steel plate Working on large structural beams Fabricating bridge sections and associated steelwork Marking out, measuring and assembling components from engineering drawings MIG welding for tacking and small fillet welds Using overhead cranes to safely manoeuvre heavy steel components Producing work accurately to engineering specificationsThis is genuine heavy structural fabrication, so we're looking for experienced Platers comfortable working on large-scale steelwork. What We're Looking For Applicants must be: Time-served / apprentice-trained Plater Fabricators Qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Experienced in heavy structural steel fabrication Confident working independently from engineering drawings Proficient in the use of overhead cranes Capable of MIG tacking and producing small fillet welds Able to work accurately and safely within a busy fabrication environment Apply Today Click Apply or contact Dean Carthy at ES Recruit for full details
