What the Role Involves
You'll plan and deliver a highly personalised curriculum based around each pupil's individual needs and EHCP outcomes. You'll use sensory, practical and communication-based approaches to support engagement, independence and development, while working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families.
You'll also play an important role in creating a calm, safe and stimulating classroom where progress is recognised in all its forms. PMLD Teacher
What the School is Looking For The ideal candidate will hold
QTS
and have experience teaching pupils with PMLD, SLD, complex needs or within a specialist SEND setting. Applications are also welcomed from experienced SEN Teachers looking to develop their expertise in complex needs.
The school is looking for a patient, reflective and resilient teacher who understands that working with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties requires creativity, consistency and a genuinely individualised approach.
