We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide high‑quality technical support across a range of Production Print products. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, minimising downtime, and ensuring customers receive a smooth, professional experience. We are open to those from Photocopier / MFD backgrounds too that would be open to upskilling.
The role
- Delivering technical service, maintenance, and repair across Production Print equipment.
- Carrying out installations and de‑installations, ensuring all project milestones are met efficiently.
- Keeping customers updated on progress and ensuring a positive service experience.
- Escalating technical issues promptly.
- Identifying opportunities for additional services or revenue while on customer sites.
- Building strong customer relationships.
- Managing and maintaining vehicle stock.
The candidate
- Strong technical knowledge of Production Print and/or MFD devices.
- Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- Confident using diagnostic tools and reading complex technical instructions.
- IT literacy and basic networking capabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
Shift patterns
Rotating 4‑week shift cycle:
- Week 1 – Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm.
- Week 2 – Evening Shift: 4:30pm – 12:00am or 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
- Week 3 – Day shift: 8:30am – 5:30pm.
- Week 3 – Night Shift: 12:00am – 8:30am. No shifts or weekends apply until full training is completed and the engineer is fully up to speed.
