HB Partners Limited is recruiting AAT, ACCA, ACA or ATT qualified Practice Accountants on behalf of a well established and growing accountancy practice based near Portsmouth to join its expanding team. The practice provides accounting and tax services to a broad portfolio of small business clients, and is looking for technically strong, client-focused professionals to support its continued growth.
Key responsibilities: Preparing, submitting and reviewing accounts and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies, including VAT and CIS where required Providing training, mentorship and technical guidance to the accounting team, reviewing their work and supporting technical development Advising clients on tax efficiency, cashflow, budgeting and pricing Leading year-end client meetings and conducting client fee reviews Acting as the primary point of liaison between clients and HMRC Managing a portfolio of clients
Candidate requirements: Full membership of a chartered professional body (AAT, ATT, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) A minimum of five years' experience in practice, managing a broad client base Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, DEXT and FreeAgent Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly
