Location: Brighton & Hove Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £51,792 per annum About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager to lead the operational, financial and administrative functions of a busy NHS GP practice in Brighton & Hove. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving service improvement, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the long-term success of the practice. Key Responsibilities ~ Lead the operational, financial and administrative management of the practice Support and manage both clinical and non-clinical teams Ensure compliance with NHS contractual, regulatory and governance requirements Oversee practice performance, budgeting and financial management Drive quality improvement and service development initiatives Manage workforce planning, recruitment and staff development Develop and maintain effective operational policies and procedures Build strong relationships with patients, staff and external stakeholders Ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred services What We're Looking ForEssential ~ Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior healthcare management role Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience managing operational and financial performance Good understanding of NHS Primary Care and regulatory requirements Ability to lead service improvement and organisational change Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills Desirable ~ Previous experience within an NHS GP Practice xkybehq Experience with NHS contracts, CQC compliance and Primary Care Networks Knowledge of GP practice finance and workforce planning Management qualification or equivalent leadership experience What's on Offer ~ £51,792 per annum Permanent full-time position Opportunity to lead a well-established NHS GP practice Collaborative and supportive working environment Opportunity to influence service development and operational excellence Immediate start available If you're an experienced healthcare leader looking for your next challenge within Primary Care, we'd love to hear from you.
