Pre-School Room Leader
to join a well-established and highly regarded nursery in South London. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a vibrant pre-school room, inspire a team of practitioners, and help children develop the confidence and skills they need before starting primary education. The Role
As Pre-School Room Leader, you'll take responsibility for the daily operation of the pre-school room, ensuring outstanding standards of care, learning and development are consistently delivered. Working alongside the nursery leadership team, you'll create an engaging curriculum that promotes curiosity, independence and school readiness, while supporting and developing your team to achieve the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of the Pre-School Room Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS Promote school readiness through stimulating and age-appropriate activities Support, mentor and develop practitioners within the room Complete observations, assessments and children's learning journeys Build strong relationships with parents and carers Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are fully maintained Create an inclusive, safe and inspiring learning environment Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or an experienced Level 3 ready to step into leadership Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills A proactive, positive and child-focused approach A genuine passion for delivering exceptional Early Years education What's on Offer?
