Press Operator

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses. This role is key to ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate progression, heavy manual, and light guard presses Monitor machine performance and maintain optimal output Carry out regular quality checks and report defects Read and follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and control plans Maintain a clean, safe working environment (5S) Accurately record production output, downtime, and scrap Skills & Experience: Experience with progression and/or mechanical presses Understanding of manufacturing health & safety Ability to read basic engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Desirable: Experience with coil-fed tooling Basic mechanical or maintenance skills Working Hours: Afternoons are 14:00-10:30pm Mon-Thursday and Friday 12:30-17:30pm Overtime may be required depending on production demands About You: Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proactive with a focus on continuous improvement To apply, please submit your CV
