Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to add a skilled Hydraulic Press Setter/Operator to their experienced production team. You'll be working on high-quality, precision-engineered components for a diverse range of industries, using advanced equipment in a modern manufacturing environment. The Role As a Hydraulic Press Setter/Operator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality precision sheet metal components while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Set and operate hydraulic presses ranging from 50 to 800 tonnes Install, change and adjust tooling, dies and machine settings Manufacture high-quality precision sheet metal components to specification Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks Work with a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminium Support tooling trials and new product introduction activities Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: Proven experience setting and operating hydraulic or mechanical presses Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience carrying out tooling and die changeovers Knowledge of draw tools and wipe-form tooling Experience using measuring equipment and quality inspection techniques Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach Your own tools and toolbox A proactive attitude and commitment to safe working practices What's on Offer?
