Primary English Teacher – Specialist SEND School Location: Stockport (SK12 area) Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm Salary: £32,916–£45,350 plus SEN Allowance SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting on behalf of one of our specialist partner schools in the Stockport area for a passionate and dedicated Primary English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist SEND setting supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and a range of additional learning needs. Small class sizes and a nurturing environment enable staff to deliver high-quality, personalised learning that helps every pupil reach their full potential. The Role As a Primary English Teacher, you will: * Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons. * Teach English within a primary setting, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs. * Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment. * Support pupils with SEND to achieve both academically and personally. * Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress. * Promote positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils. * Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals. * Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in ongoing professional development. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Either an English specialism or significant experience teaching English within a primary setting. * A strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies. * Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. * Experience working with children with SEND, including ASC and ADHD, is desirable. * A SEND qualification is desirable but not essential. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Resilience, adaptability and a passion for inclusive education. * A commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for every pupil.
