Primary Step-Out Tutor - SEN & Alternative Provision Tradewind Recruitment - Sheffield Location: Sheffield & surrounding areas Pay: £25-£35 per hour, depending on experience Contract: Full-time | Term Time Only 🚗 MUST BE A DRIVER - ACCESS TO A CAR IS ESSENTIAL Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Primary Step-Out Tutor to provide tailored educational support to children who are currently unable to access a traditional school environment. This role would suit an experienced Primary Teacher, Tutor, Teaching Assistant or education professional who is confident working with children who may have SEN, SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties or barriers to learning. The successful candidate will provide a calm, nurturing and structured approach, helping pupils rebuild their confidence with education and gradually work towards re-engaging with learning. The Role You will be responsible for: Providing 1:1 educational support to primary-aged pupils Delivering engaging and appropriately differentiated learning Supporting pupils who have stepped away from mainstream education Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils Helping children develop confidence, resilience and independence Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH and behavioural needs Adapting lessons around individual needs and abilities Working closely with schools, families and other professionals Helping pupils make progress ...
