Primary Teacher Required - Chorley

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Primary Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Chorley for the 2026/2027 academic year. This role is a maternity cover position, beginning from October half term and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher who can inspire pupils, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute positively to school life.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Regularly assess and monitor pupil achievement and attainment.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
